The private primary school Meridian in Vienna is an educational institution under private law that is financed solely by school fees and receives no subsidies from the federal government or the City of Vienna. We offer high-quality education for your children - and it is very important to us to offer our services transparently.
The total costs are made up of the registration fee, an investment contribution and the school fees including meals. The contribution for mother-tongue tuition and additional costs for any additional offers are charged separately.

Due to the current situation and due to several inquiries, we would like to inform you that the registration fee of EUR 250,- does not have to be paid at MERIDIAN if you have already paid a registration fee at another school (e.g. for an introductory interview or school readiness assessment). The registration fee at MERIDIAN will be waived in full. A confirmation of payment is sufficient proof. It does not matter how much you have already paid. You do not have to pay the difference if the fee was lower at another school.
Multi-child discount 10% for the second child and 5% for each additional child. Early supervision from 08:00 and late supervision until 17:10 (on Friday until 16:00) is included in the price. Lunch and snack are compulsory for all children at MERIDIAN Private primary school . A direct debit mandate is required for monthly payment.
Registrations can only be processed after receipt of all necessary documents and payment of the registration fee. You will receive a detailed list of all documents after pre-registration on the homepage and upon express invitation to enrollment by the school management. Payment of the processing fee is a prerequisite for making an appointment for the enrollment interview. Pre-registrations are not binding and are still FREE. The processing fee is non-refundable.
The investment contribution is due when the child is finally admitted and when the education contract is signed and serves to maintain, repair and expand the school. The investment contribution is paid upon admission. For families with several children at the Meridian Grinzing Private primary school , the investment contribution is only due for the first two siblings. The investment fee is non-refundable and non-transferable. In the event of deregistration for any reason whatsoever and re-registration within 24 months, no new investment fee is due.
The deposit is paid when the child is admitted to the Private primary school Meridian Grinzing. The deposit (without interest) will be refunded when the child leaves the school. Any claims will be offset.
